Handmade in Canada
Furniture that keeps the edge of the tree.
Live edge tables, end-grain boards and solid seating, cut from single slabs of Ontario hardwood and finished by hand in our shop.
The Studio
We start with a tree that has already fallen, and stop when the piece is ready for the next forty years. Between those two points there is a year of drying, a week of flattening and a lot of quiet sanding.

Process
Slow wood,
sharp tools.
Slabs air-dry under cover for a year, then finish in our kiln until they hit 7% moisture. Only then do we flatten, fill, join and sand. Nothing leaves before it has been oiled three times.
